Must be physically fit, have a clean drivers abstract, enjoy meeting people and have a genuine interest in conservation and good stewardship practices.

Beaver Creek Provincial Park – 2026
- Day shift, 5 days per week with 1 weekend day – 8:00am to 4:00 pm
- Responsible for cleaning campsites (19 sites), pit toilets, showers and other park facilities. Grounds work; mowing, whipping, garbage collection and fee collection
- Assisting with other duties throughout the park when required
Kokanee Creek Provincial Park – 2026
Gatekeeper: 2 shifts – 8:00 – 4:00 and 3:30 – 11:00 pm.
- Day shift, 3 to 5 days per week with 1 weekend day – 8:00am to 4:00 pm
- Afternoon, 5 evenings per week with 1 weekend day 8:00 am- 4:00 pm
- Responsible for checking campers in, collecting camping fees, selling firewood & ice and providing information on the park, Nelson and surrounding areas.
- Must be familiar with basic point of sale systems.
- Willing to work out in the park when gate is quiet early and late season
Campground Attendant: 2026
- Day shift, 5 days per week with 1 weekend day – 8:00am to 4:00 pm
- Responsible for cleaning campsites, toilet buildings and other park facilities. Some grounds work.
- Assisting with other duties throughout the park when required
Jr. Naturalists: 2026
- Day shift: 5 days per week includes 1 evening and weekends. Schedule to be determined. May 19 – Sept. 7th (could extend into September)
- Naturalists research, develop and present hands-on, educational, programs to park visitors, community and school groups which will include summer kids’ nature camp, Jerry’s Rangers, public guided walks. Support for evening theatre presentations.
- Daily operation of the Nature House (a facility with interactive displays, gift shop, Coffee bar and book store)
Guest Services / Barista (Kokanee Creek Nature Centre) – 2026
- Day shift: 5 days per week, schedule to be determined. May 19 – Sept. 30th
- Daily operation of the Nature House (a facility with interactive displays, gift shop, Coffee bar and book store)
- Responsible for overseeing, maintaining a small coffee bar and monitoring inventory in both, daily cleaning duties and making excellent coffee!
- Engaging with park visitors about park services, hiking trails and the Nelson area.
Syringa Park
Park Attendant 2026
- Day shift: 4 days, Thursday / Friday, Sunday/ Monday (Saturday off)
- Responsible for cleaning campsites, toilet buildings and other park facilities. Some grounds work.
Park Patrol 2026
- Evening shift, weekends – set shift to be determined
- Responsible for night security, firewood, some grounds duties (garbage), some wildlife management, fee collection and general information.
